Book Description

Curtis has been delivering mail for forty-two year. Today is his last day. And all the mailboxes along his route are filled with surprises.

There is a drawing from Debbie, Dennis, and Donny. There is a bottle of aftershave from the Johnsons. There is a small, fat book from Mr. Porter.

But the real surprise is at the very last house on the very last street. There is no doubt that everyone loves Curtis!

Here is a look inside the book:

Everyone loves Curtis --

the old woman on the hill,
the baby in 4-C,
the clerk at the butvher shop,
and the crossing guard at the corner of Free and Park.

Behind the Story

Kevin Henkes who has written and illustrated many wonderful books wrote this story. He asked me to illustrate it for him. He didn't see any of the pictures until I was all done. Kevin was happy with the book and so was I!
